Mission: Along with organizing the recovery community (people in recovery, family members, friends and allies) to 1) put a face on recovery and 2) provide recovery support services, we also promote recovery from alcohol and other drug addiction through advocacy, education and service. On December 4, 2017, the Connecticut Department of Mental Health and Addiction Services (DMHAS) announced the launch of a new website which provides real-time information on bed availability for addiction services. The website gives users real-time information of availability for approximately 1,000 DMHAS-funded beds including detoxification services, residential addiction treatment and recovery housing.
